Technical details
Transparent glass desk clock, quartz movement
This transparent glass and crystal desk clock stands 17 cm tall and 11 cm wide, making it compact enough for a desk, bookshelf, nightstand, or mantle. Its see-through body puts the analog quartz movement on full display. Battery powered with no cords needed, it fits anywhere without outlet constraints. The silent quartz movement ensures accurate timekeeping. Intended for indoor tabletop use only. If you want to explore the different types of clocks to compare styles, or learn more about what a sweep movement means in clock mechanics, our guides cover both in plain language.
The benefit
A glass desk clock that earns its spot
Most clocks just hang there. This one makes people stop and look. The transparent glass and crystal body turns the inner quartz movement into something worth noticing, adding depth and quiet sophistication to any room. It is not just about knowing the time. It is about having an object on your desk or shelf that genuinely feels like it belongs there and says something about the space you have built.
Product details
Crystal-clear design, reliable quartz inside
The body is made from glass and crystal, giving it a clean transparency that works in a traditional study, a minimalist office, or an eclectic living room. Inside, a silent quartz movement drives the analog hand display with steady, consistent accuracy. At 17 cm tall and 11 cm wide, it is compact without feeling small. Battery powered, so there are no cords to hide and no outlet to plan around.
In real life
Set it down, watch the room change
You place it on the corner of your desk between your lamp and a small plant. Within a day, two people ask where you got it. That is the thing about a see-through clock with an antique quartz design: it does not compete with the rest of your decor, it completes it. The analog hands move quietly, the crystal catches the light, and the whole piece feels considered rather than accidental.
Daily use
Silent, cord-free, always accurate
No ticking sound to distract you during calls or focused work. No cord snaking across your desk looking for an outlet. Just a battery inside, a quartz movement keeping perfect time, and a glass body that stays looking sharp with a quick wipe. The compact size means it does not overwhelm a nightstand or a small bookshelf, and the analog display reads naturally at a glance without needing to decode a screen.

FAQ
Your questions answered
How big is this glass desk clock?
It stands 17 cm tall and measures 11 cm wide. That makes it compact enough for a desk corner, a nightstand, a bookshelf, or a mantle without taking over the space.
Does it make a ticking noise?
No. The quartz movement is silent, so it will not distract you during work, calls, or sleep. It keeps accurate time without the classic tick-tock sound.
What kind of battery does it need?
It runs on a standard battery (no cords required). The product description does not specify the exact battery size, so we recommend checking the packaging when it arrives. Setup typically takes under a minute.
Can I place it anywhere, or does it need to be near an outlet?
Anywhere you like. It is fully battery powered with no cords, so a desk, shelf, nightstand, mantle, or any flat indoor surface works perfectly. No outlet planning needed.
Does the transparent design work in a modern space, or is it only for antique-style decor?
It works in both. The see-through glass and crystal body adapts to a traditional study, a minimalist home office, or an eclectic living room. The antique quartz design adds character without locking you into one decorating style.
